National Show Horses are very exciting horses to show and they are easy to train.

I think the best part of National Show Horses are the opportunities to breed exciting show horses. There are so many ways to try for the top foals crossing proven saddlebred lines with the arabian. Some of my favorite horses are this breed. What does everyone else think?

Our NSH is wonderful, I'm hooked on the breed based on this one and only experience.  However, why are they not shown hunt seat?  We only show Arabian classes (he is registered 1/2 Arab also) because all NSH classes apear to be saddle seat.

NSH does offer hunter classes.  I take my hunter to NSH Finals every year.  They do appear to be mostly english but the hunter classes I have shown usually have 10-16 entries most years.  If your local shows don't offer hunter classes for NSH I would definitely look into because NSH Finals is a blast every year.
